It seems that increasingly these days the electronic games they play are becoming actual. And naturally that is the purpose of gambling programmers who work to help suspend your belief method and enter the game as in the event you were actually in it. It is not simple to do that, but somebody who has ever played a video game, computer game, or played in online gambling communities knows it is simple to get so caught up in the game that you forget the actual world.
Perhaps, it is this escapism and altered reality that finds humans so fascinated with such activity. What if I told you there is a way, or there might be a way in the near future to up your gambling experience, capturing the essence of the sounds and vibrations around you while you are playing? Indeed that sounds nice doesn't it? Well, I think that day is on us.
There was an fascinating article recently in the Wall Street Journal on May 6, 2011. The article was titled "Gyrating at a Theater Near You: D-Box's Moving Film Seats" by Michelle Kung. The article had a picture of a captain's stool style film stool, which could thrust forward, move backwards, or produce a sensation which would make the person sitting in the stool feel as in the event that they were falling, in case a main character in the film was leaping off a cliff or something of that nature.
Such a film stool might be great for 3-D movies, or IMAX theaters, which apparently is the intended purpose of this new expertise. However, it is my view that this particular type of stool would be excellent for somebody who was sitting in their living room and enjoying augmented reality gambling on a computer or the TV, or both. In fact, I fully expect that in the future there will be more augmented reality features and equipment going along with the gambling sector.
It would be terrific for World of Warcraft or other such games, where the operator would feel the explosions as the stool vibrated, or if the gamer was firing some kind of weapon, the stool would vibrate as in the event that they were holding onto a 50 caliber machine gun. Interestingly , lots of of the simulators for the trucking industry, the military, and the aviation sector have seats which are integrated in to a simulator's computer method.
In the event you have any comments, questions, and/or concerns regarding the future of augmented reality gambling in your living room, shoot me an e-mail, and let's talk.
