Smackdown Vs Raw - Need to be Changes for 2012

Improvements in video games are mostly influenced by competition. THQ has a powerful business relationship with Wrestling Entertainment, which serves as a downfall to game enthusiasts because they do not get the best product available. The NFL Irritate series is very similar to SVR in this respect, & the product suffers as there is no competition.

of the few things that I think SVR does well is the backstage brawls. There is plenty of weapons to make use of & places to throw your opponent, including a couch or a soda machine. As a player, you always wish you could do more though. I would love to see being able to jump off of objects backstage like tables. Should not there be a point that everything in the game can be used? Why have doors backstage that you cannot open? Even if there is nothing in that room throughout the whole game, it at least hides the restrictions in the game.

Alright, now to the core of the game, the in-game fighting. I think all game enthusiasts will have an issue with a 175 pound wrestler picking up the Giant Show. They do make a weaker wrestler struggle to get Giant Show up for a suplex, but they still can select him up. Why not have that tiny of wrestlers be incapable of suplexing that giant of wrestlers? I think the change would be simple, but THQ would then must pick how to balance the game so Giant Show doesn't always win. How about make it if the superstar cannot suplex the opponent, they goes for the legs to try to take him down? If the wrestler cannot do it is finisher or signature on the outside of the ring, they game edits the move to something else. So in lieu of making the superstars being able to take down every wrestler without much difficulty, how about make it so in lieu of suplexing the opponent, they does like five or five walking kicks to his legs to take him down? That would make me feel much better about the game I am playing when I see Rey Mysterio take out Giant Show's legs, than suplexing him to the ground.

Something else that needs changing is allowing partners to interfere in moves as they are taking place. Shawn Michaels is setting up his finisher on his opponent which takes a few seconds & his partner has to watch him get kicked right in the face. This change may be the most difficult change, because they would must edit a partner counter to every move. As time consuming as that could be, it is something that would take the game to the next level. There ought to be more emphasis on the power of a team & make it impossible to beat a team with great teamwork. Also, five times you have this change implemented in to the game, it will be able to used in future Wrestling Entertainment games as well.

As I think those other changes would be the most helpful to the game, I think a sweet subtle change would be to have tag team finishers. There is a point in the game where the game shows Triple H & Shawn Michaels using there finishers together when Michaels hit his Sweet Chin Music followed by Triple H's Pedigree, but it is not available for use in gameplay. The developers could have all kinds of fun trying to intertwine finishers with each other to make an wonderful tag team finisher. It looks as if such an simple addition to the game & it would make tag team play much more fascinating.

The mechanics of the game are in positive need. I hope they address the idea of an 175 pound superstar picking up a 500 pound giant. There's plenty of options to fix this, but I think my additions would help this game stand out.
