Spore - You Are The God of World

Welcome to the wonderful world of Spore!

Spore is a life simulation game, released in 2008, created by the simulation games genius Will Wright.

Spore, in my view, is over a game. It is an wonderful mixture of a computer game, a science toy, a creativity device, as well as a social device as it lets you make millions of friends around the globe while playing it.

In spore you can imagine any thing & then bring it to life & play with it as you wish forever! yes, there is no finish to the game..

You can access millions of players creations online & install it to your game, so your tiny universe get populated with billions of different creations from another players!

You are the master! it is your world. you made the creatures, the buildings, the vehicles, the spaceships, even you can design the planets & there atmospheres.

So, let's have a deeper look at it:

1-the cell stage:

The game consists of five stages:

You start the game as a single cell micro-organism, swimming in a prehistoric ocean. in this stage you must eat cells smaller than you, & avoid being eaten by cells larger than you simultaneously. you may pick to be carnivore (carnivore), plant eater (vegetables & fruits eater), or omnivore (eat both).

When you eat cells you gain more DNA points, which let you call your partner (the female creature of your type) to produce the new generation of your cell. this will give you the chance to enter the cell editor where you can enhance your cell abilities, like making it swim faster by adding fins, making it stronger by adding spikes, even making it fire electric shots or poison when attacked!

2-the creature stage:

After collecting DNA you will have the ability to evolve to the second stage which is:

Now you can leave the water & walk on the land for the first time ever!

Welcome to land!

In this stage you require to socialize, to gain more DNA points. you may befriend other creatures & make alliances, or you may assault & finally kill them.. you pick!

Each time you reach positive amount of DNA points you have the ability to make member of your type follow you as a pack. you can assault together, socialize together.. etc.

After gaining DNA your brain will get bigger & you become more expert. it is time to make a tribe of your own race, & in the first time in your history you can now make weapons & other useful stuff like fishing rods, fire torches, stone axes, spears... & far much more!

3-the tribe stage:

But beware! there's other tribes scattered around the planet. a quantity of them may look friendly, while others are not. you can design your tribe layout, your tribe members outfits. you can start gathering food either by hunting animals, or by gathering fruits from trees. food is regarded as the funds in the tribe stage. you can buy tools, add more buildings, gift other tribes, & naturally keep alive through food.

Now you are a leader of a whole tribe of your own race. congratulations!

The main objective of the tribe stage is to dominate all tribes, either peacefully by gifting them & turning them in to loyal allies, or by waging war on them & whip them out of the face of the planet!

After uniting all the tribes under your command.. your race now is dominating the planet. but they became separated & no more speak the same language.. also they start to compete against each other in order to take control of the resources & dominate the planet.. hurry up. the civilization stage is about to start!

4-the civilization stage:

In civilization stage you build a complete civilization, & your objective is to dominate the whole planet, uniting all rival civilizations under your role.

In this level you can start building land, air, & sea vehicles. & again all of this stuff is TOTALLY designable! you can generate any vehicle you which.

You can accomplish this like you did in creature & tribe stages.. peacefully or aggressively.

You have a cute vehicle editor that has lots of parts like tires, bodies, chassis, mounted weapons, cockpits, wings, boats... etc.

If you are going to dominate the planet peacefully, use your vehicles social abilities to befriend other civilizations & finally make them loyal allies. or wage fierce battles with them using your land, air, & sea large fire power (you even have the ability to build tremendous weapons like the gadget bomb & the ICBM)!

One time you finish uniting all civilizations under your role.. it is time to look up at the sky thinking about this mysterious world far far away!.. get ready for left off!!!

5-the space stage:

I think about the space stage to be the beginning of the game although it is the final stage. this stage starts with a spaceship editor aka "the UFO editor" where you can build your own spaceship! is not it wonderful?

Aha! so you made it & you managed to reach the space stage.. congrats!

In space stage you can search for other alien races live in your solar process or in other solar systems. a quantity of them may be still in the creature stage, or in tribal stages. you can hover around along with your space ship scaring them, or taking a quantity of them as lovely specimen along with your abduction beam.

As in all earlier stages, you have a handy editor associated with every thing you play with. the UFO editor contains lots & lots of parts like: thrusters, mounted weapons, light effects.. & after collecting credits you may make it even much more better. you can buy upgrades like interstellar drives (make you travel longer distances in space), energy packs (to increase the fuel of your space ship), wormhole (a device which lets you travel through black holes as a short cut through the gigantic galaxy), large weapons (like the final planet buster which have the ability to damage a whole planet with a single shot!!), & lots of other socializing tools.

But you may find another smart life forms that roam the space as you do. Now this is the difference between the space stage & all earlier stages. your main objective is to CONQUER THE UNIVERSE search for barren planets, build colonies on them, collect resources & buy increasingly upgrades for yourself.

Make allies or wage interstellar battles from planet to planet. you won't think me if I tell you that I am playing the game for five years now & I 'm unable to finish it!!

The galaxy is soooooo gigantic.. there's MILLIONS of planets to visit.. each planet has its own creatures, plants, & civilizations. but the main objective in this stage is to reach the middle of the galaxy, which is protected by a fearsome, mysterious alien race called the "Grox". think me it is so hard to accomplish this. but finally I managed to do it!

After reaching the middle of the galaxy you will be granted some wonderful rewards including the staff of life which let you generate life itself from scratch.. you can turn a dead barren planet to a living, crowded with creatures, contains river, seas & oceans, & have a livable atmosphere.

& here you are!.. you have a gigantic galaxy filled with millions of stars & planet, & you have all tools & upgrades installed in your spaceship.. feel free to do what you wish! you may hop from planet to another.. you may explore the far, mysterious solar systems.. you may explore planets & scan new life forms & abduct some with you as samples & use them to populate another planet. you may miss with planets rising mountains & hills, dig rivers & seas, raise temperature or lower it.. even damage a complete planet along with your planet buster weapon.. but beware. this may damage your reputation in the galaxy & you may lose your allies. even worse, you may gain lots of new enemies.

Final word about Spore:

An wonderful application (not calling it a game) permit the user to feel so close to the things they (they) created. it is his own creation, which carries his own character. they is acting passively on a regular basis, designing creatures, buildings, outfits, vehicles, spaceships & even planets! they created the game himself!

They created a space captain from a single cell organism!! what an achievement!

Also spore makes the player think about himself, his surroundings, his surroundings & the whole universe. it made me think about how tiny they are in the universe. & how they may look like to alien races ( in the event that they are actual).

I recommend this game for all of those who like strategy games & city building games.. & I recommend it for graphic designers as will as it works great to design characters, texture, & animate them.
