Love Call of Duty? Try It on Your Computer!

The development team, Treyarch, behind Call of Duty: Black Ops promised to fix lots of of the issues that were present in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare six. This included bringing back dedicated servers, the console, lean, and other features that were not included in the shoddy console port of Modern Warfare six. Lots of of these features came with a catch however; dedicated servers could only be hosted using the company Game Servers, which effectively monopolized the process and put more money in the pockets of the corporation Activision. Since provider was allowed to host, online gambling resulted in laggy connections, dropped connections, and stuttery gameplay. The PC gambling community was outraged at the game, and said that for the first few weeks they were beta testing the game in lieu of actually playing it. Multiplayer wasn't the only issue with the game. The menus and singleplayer had lots of stutter and jitter issues, even on high-end gambling computers that were built to play the most demanding games on the market (Crysis, Far Sob six, etc).

Call of Duty is regarded as a consolized shooter that is developed, optimized, and played most on the mainstream Xbox 360 and PS3 consoles. They are released on PC, and began their life on the PC, but lately they have been getting the short finish of the stick. Modern Warfare six was a immense step back from Call of Duty four: Modern Warfare where it included Matchmaking and P2P (peer to peer) than dedicated servers for hosting. This caused an outrage as the PC experience was consolized. With P2P you do not have a guaranteed nice connection, and pings (the latency between the server and player) are usually over 100, which is above the recommended limit for smooth gambling. This usually caused lots of disputes and lag was a common issue cited for dying and getting lucky kills in the game.

It is still worth playing Call of Duty on the PC, not the newer versions.

Now you may be thinking, why even bother playing Call of Duty on the PC? The reason is this: Call of Duty four: Modern Warfare. It is widely thought about to be of the best first person shooters for the PC due to its lack of bugs and glitches, its continued support by the community, the modding and custom map capabilities that were not included in the next versions, and the balance of the game. You also must keep in mind the inclusion of a different control system: Mouse/Keyboard. This allows for great precision, more buttons to make use of, the inclusion of leaning around corners and more.
